About Rock Hall
Known as the "Pearl of the Chesapeake," this lively boating hub covers Swan Creek, Rock Hall Harbor, and the nearby Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge. Visitors flock here to swim along the 300 feet of sandy bay beach, launch sailboats, enjoy distant views of Hart-Miller Island, and fish for white perch from the bulkheads. Fishing in the harbor and Swan Creek is highly tide-dependent; anglers specifically time their trips with a moving tide, which pulls baitfish around the harbor structures and triggers the white perch and striped bass to feed aggressively.
