New Brunswick Tide Charts

Bathurst tides

Predicted from the Bathurst Harbour gauge, 1 miles away. The Baie des Chaleurs and the Acadian coast run a small tide, three to five feet, and the water is warm by the standards of this latitude. What the tide does govern here are the sandbars, the lagoons and the estuary channels, which shift and shoal and are worth knowing before taking a boat through. Heights in metres above Chart Datum. Also covers Youghall Beach, Daly Point and the harbour.

About Bathurst

A lively, urban coastal center on the Baie des Chaleurs, Bathurst covers Youghall Beach, Daly Point, and the deep-water harbour. The coastal lifestyle includes warm bay water swimming, playing beach volleyball, walking the boardwalks, and mackerel fishing from the jetty. Jetty anglers casting for striped bass and mackerel strictly monitor the tides; an incoming tide flushes fresh saltwater and massive schools of baitfish into the harbor, triggering highly productive feeding windows right off the rock jetties.
