New Brunswick Tide Charts

Cap-Pelé tides

Predicted from the Cap Pelé gauge, 1 miles away. The Northumberland Strait has a small range — four feet or so — and shallow sand that warms right through the summer. These are the warmest salt-water beaches north of the Carolinas, and the tide matters far less here than a hundred miles west in Fundy, where the same day brings forty. Heights in metres above Chart Datum. Also covers Plage Aboiteau, Petit-Cap and the smokehouses.

About Cap-Pelé

A bustling Acadian fishing community, Cap-Pelé covers the Blue Flag certified Plage Aboiteau, Petit-Cap, and numerous traditional smokehouses. It is highly popular for soft sand walking, warm shallow water swimming, camping, boardwalk walking, and clamming. Clamming along the wide, sandy Acadian coast requires strict tidal awareness; harvesters must wait for a dead low tide to safely access the exposed, sandy mudflats and dig for fresh clams before the warm Gulf waters return.
