About Seabrook Beach
Serving as the quiet, residential anchor of New Hampshire's coastline, Seabrook Beach encompasses the local harbor, the mouth of the Hampton River, and the picturesque Seabrook Dunes. Visitors favor this stretch for long, peaceful beach walking, exploring the fragile dune ecosystems, hunting for shells, and surf fishing near the river inlet. Knowing the tides is essential for surf casters targeting striped bass near the Hampton River mouth; an outgoing tide forcefully flushes baitfish from the harbor into the ocean, creating highly productive feeding frenzies just off the beach, while a low tide exposes the widest expanses of sand for uninterrupted shelling.
