Nova Scotia Tide Charts

Inverness tides

Predicted from the Broad Cove Marsh gauge, 5 miles away. The Northumberland Strait has a small range, four feet or so, and shallow sand that warms through the summer — the warmest salt water north of the Carolinas, which is why these beaches are what they are. The tide matters less here than almost anywhere else in the province. Heights in metres above Chart Datum. Also covers Inverness Beach, the boardwalk and Broad Cove.

About Inverness

A world-renowned golf and beach destination, Inverness covers the spectacular Inverness Beach, the wooden boardwalk, and Broad Cove. The coastal lifestyle here focuses on sea glass hunting, boardwalk walking, sunset watching, and enjoying the stunning golf views. Beachcombers are obsessive about the tide charts in Inverness; a dead low tide following a storm is the absolute best time to scour the newly exposed, wet pebble beds along the shoreline for world-class, perfectly frosted pieces of sea glass.
