Nova Scotia Tide Charts

Lawrencetown Beach tides

Predicted from the Chezzetcook Inlet gauge, 7 miles away. The Atlantic shore of Nova Scotia runs about six feet — a normal ocean tide, and a tenth of what the Fundy side sees sixty miles away. Nothing here behaves like Minas Basin, and a time or a height taken from that side does not apply. Heights in metres above Chart Datum. Also covers the surf break, Rainbow Haven, Conrad’s Beach and Cow Bay.

About Lawrencetown Beach

The epicenter of Nova Scotia’s surf culture, this provincial park covers the main surf breaks, Rainbow Haven, Conrad’s Beach, and Cow Bay. The energetic atmosphere is dominated by year-round surfing, beach walking, coastal photography, and sea glass hunting. Surfers checking the local wave forecasts also strictly monitor the tides; the cobblestone and sandbar breaks at Lawrencetown typically offer the best, most powerful, and longest rides during a mid-to-high incoming tide.
