Nova Scotia Tide Charts

Shelburne tides

Predicted from the Shelburne gauge, 0 miles away. The Atlantic shore of Nova Scotia runs about six feet — a normal ocean tide, and a tenth of what the Fundy side sees sixty miles away. Nothing here behaves like Minas Basin, and a time or a height taken from that side does not apply. Heights in metres above Chart Datum. Also covers the harbour, Sandy Point and the Islands Provincial Park.

About Shelburne

A deeply historic loyalist town boasting one of the world's best natural harbors, Shelburne covers the deep-water harbor, Sandy Point, and the Islands Provincial Park. Visitors spend their time walking the historic waterfront (often used as a movie set), sailing the protected harbor, and visiting the unique lighthouse at Sandy Point. The Sandy Point lighthouse is famous for its tidal interaction; during a low tide, a massive sandbar emerges that connects the beach directly to the lighthouse, allowing visitors to walk right out to the structure, which is entirely surrounded by water at high tide.
