Acapulco tides
Predicted from Acapulco, NOAA station TWC0377, 0 miles away. This is one of NOAA’s subordinate stations. Rather than computing the tide here from its own harmonic constants, NOAA takes a reference gauge in the United States and applies a fixed time and height offset to it. Compared against Mexico’s own published tables the result is good to roughly ten minutes and a quarter of a foot — fine for planning a day, less so for anything that turns on the exact moment of slack water. Heights in feet above MLLW. Also covers Playa Caleta, Pie de la Cuesta, La Quebrada and Playa Revolcadero.

About Acapulco
Framed by dramatic cliffs and sweeping Pacific bays, Acapulco encompasses famous urban shores such as Playa Caleta, Playa Revolcadero, Pie de la Cuesta, and the iconic cliff-diving landmark at La Quebrada. Tidal stages significantly influence wave size and current strength: Playa Revolcadero and Pie de la Cuesta experience heavier surf during rising tides, while sheltered Playa Caleta offers calmer conditions for swimming during low to mid-tides. Coastal visitors benefit from checking tide times to watch the divers at La Quebrada when water depths in the narrow gorge are at safe levels.
